In a nutshell, our warranty lasts as long as you believe it should.
At Belfair ComputerLab we want our customers to be happy. And there is probably
nothing that angers customers more than the feeling that they didn't get their monies
worth. At Belfair ComputerLab, you will be guaranteed of getting your monies worth
because you will decide whether or not you did.
In other words, when you purchase a previously owned item from us, if it fails at
some future date and you feel that date came too quickly, just let us know and we will
either replace the part or refund what you paid for it - your choice.
We make this policy because it makes the most sense. Manufacturers of new
products typically give a 1, 2, or 3 year warranty. But what is a reasonable
expectation for the life of a used item?
It seems to us that only the purchaser is in the position to balance what was paid
for the item against how long it lasts.
This policy is based on Bob's experience as a young man working at an auto
dealership. He witnessed many customers return after buying a used car asking for
some compensation for a major problem that occurred a few days after purchase. The
general manager would have nothing to do with them - he felt that after the car had left
the lot, the dealership was resolved of all responsibility. Although he may have
been within his rights, unhappy customers quickly spread word around town that he was an
unfair businessman and the dealership suffered.
We believe customers still appreciate fair treatment and hope our warranty
demonstrates our desire to do just that. |
